When does the cheesy smile stage stop
I have not been putting many pictures of Parker on here because as you can see he is at that terrible cheesy smile stage. He is so cute when he smiles "normally," but I thought this was a cute picture of him riding his horse anyway.
Little Mama
I have been washing bibs and blankets for the new baby, but I can not keep someones hands off of them. Sarah Foster needs a bib for her and her baby. She just had me swaddle her baby in one of her future brother or sisters blankets. Then she sat in her rocking chair rocking her baby and talking on her cell phone. It was so cute and funny. I am still laughing about it. She is going to be such a good big sister and helper!!
What Was I Thinking
Here is a picture of the kids watching a movie in our bed looking sweet and angelic. This look lasted until I tried to put Sarah Foster in a big girl bed in Parker's room. Did I mention that while doing this Chad was still out of town, and my Dad can not stand to hear them cry. WHAT WAS I THINKING!! We had 2 nights with little sleep. SF would not stay in her bed, but big brother was beating her out of the room to tell on her. So, after an hour of this, I put SF in the pac n play in Parker's room. Then we had to listen to her cry herself to sleep, and Parker finally passed out from exhaustion. This worked the first night. The second night Parker fell out of bed at midnight woke everyone up, but him!! I got him back in bed and put SF in her big girl bed. I went back to bed and then thought of everything she could get into if she woke up. I closed the hallway door, bathroom door, checked on her twice and then finally fell asleep around one! She was up and in bed with me at 5 and P was up at 6:30! So, again I asked myself what was I thinking. SF has been back in her crib for two nights and has slept until 7:30 every morning. She has also taken 3 hour naps. I am writing all of this to justify why she is back in the crib. At this point, I am sleeping so she might go to kindergarten in a crib!!

Papa gone...22 hours and counting until Daddy is home!!
My Dad left this morning after breakfast and we were very sad to see him go. I am now counting down until Chad gets home. 22 hours and counting!!! We went to Birmingham on Thursday to see Chad. It was a great break in the week. My Dad and the kids went swimming and I got to sit and watch. It was great!!! Friday we went to The McWane center. It is a children's science and learning center. The kids had a great time. The only catastrophy was Sarah Foster got her hand caught in the elevator, and Parker was crying hysterically when we left because he did not want to leave. All in all a pretty normal outing for us. I am so glad my dad, again, was there to help us. The pictures are of Sarah Foster playing in the water at The McWane center and Parker helping Mr. Fizz make things Fizzy. I would definitely recommend The McWane center if you are in Birmingham for a cool indoor change of scenery. I think in another year or two Parker would actually like it even more, but there is a great playground area.

Papa and the little fish
I am so thankful this week because my dad is visiting from Oklahoma. Chad left on Tuesday and will be gone until Sunday. My dad got here on Saturday and is staying until Saturday. We have kept him very busy. Yesterday we went to the pool, and he did most of the entertaining. I do not know who had more fun though. My Dad loves the water almost as much as my kids. Parker really is a little fish. He is only 3 1/2 and jumps off the diving board and swims all over the place. Next year when he is a little taller and can touch off the steps, my life will be easy when watching him. Sarah Foster loves to jump in off the side and with a little push will swim under water to the steps kicking as she goes. When she jumps off it is so funny because we count 1, 2, 3, but she just says over and over 2, 2 and then jumps. She is going to follow right in her brothers foot steps. She will be little fish number 2!!!
Sarah Foster has been pretty much attached to his hip since he got here. It might be because he gives her what ever she wants. Oh the joys of grandparent hood!! My dad has laughed several times at how I am paying for my raising. I am so glad someone can see humor in it because all I see is fatigue. Anyway, we are glad Papa is here to play with and spoil grand kids as well as helping me out a ton!!!

Pig Tails
Last weekend Chrysler put Sarah Foster's hair in pig tails. She looks so cute that I wanted everyone to see her. I am sad a little though because first of all my baby has enough hair to have pig tails, and because she looks like a big girl and not my baby. To be around her though you would know she is not a baby. She thinks she is as old as her brother. She wants to walk everywhere and carry her bag, that is as big as she is, like a purse. She is such a girly girl. Which shows me God has a sense of humor because I am NOT a girly girl. My sister,Sarah, laughs that I have tea parties and play with dolls now. I never did growing up. Sarah reminds me that I never would play baby dolls or have tea parties with her. I wanted to be outside in the dirt!!! Sarah Foster does take after her name sake. Sarah Foster wants to wear her many different shoes, have a purse, her cell phone and a bow in her hair. What am I going to do if number 3 is a girl!!!???

Water Park
I know it has been several days since I have written anything. Chad played in a golf tournament with his Dad, brother and brother-n-law this past weekend. So, that means we had 8 children 7 and under running around all weekend. I also helped Chad work on Friday, and left my 2 children with Chrysler and Marty. They took everyone swimming and told everyone they were John and Kate +8. Everyone had a great time, but I am sure that was not the most fun the adults had all weekend.
Ok, now to the water park. We went to the new splash pad today and had the best time. It was only 900 degrees, but the kids had a great time. Sarah Foster in her new hair do of pig tails looked so cute and was not afraid of the big kids. She would get knocked down come over let me kiss her boo boo and was right back out there. I guess that is what happens when you have an older brother. Parker was attached to his friend Cooper. They ran I think more then anything today. We are going to be sad when Cooper starts kindergarten this Friday. Enjoy the pictures. I can not wait for Chad to join us on the next adventure to the water park!!! Maybe when I am not pregnant I will not be so miserable outside!?
