3 Tiny Reindeer

All the boys at Parker's house

Yesterday after the boys went to GO, it was my turn to do carpool, so I let them come over and play. Parker has been asking for weeks for the boys to come to his house. Their parents have been so sweet to have him over to play. They were all so excited. Parker has had friends over before, but this was the first time 3 friends from school came to play. So, I had 5 children 4 and under for an hour and a half. It went really well; thank goodness Sarah Foster and Walker slept most of the time!!

The Kids

A few pictures of Walker. We were playing on the couch while the others were napping. He is 9 weeks old in these pictures. We just went to the Dr. and he weighs 14 pounds and 4 ounces. He is off the charts in height and weight. The outfit he is wearing is a 6-12 month!!! I love a double chin on a baby.

Parker and Sarah Foster doing their favorite thing outside, playing in the mud! It drives Chad crazy that they dig holes in the yard. I do not know why since we do not have any grass!!!

Christmas Parade Dec 6, 2008

It was very cold as you can see for the parade. Everyone thought Chad was super Dad for having all the kids, but he was the warmest on the block!!! Walker and I had to stay inside. It was too cold for him. He slept through the 2 hour event.

After the parade, we went to make ginger bread houses. It was crowded, but a lot of fun. Chad took Walker to the car because he was fussy, and Chad's nerves had all he could take, he could not be a stay at home Dad. Good thing God made Mama's!!!

This is me trying to take a picture of the kids with their beautiful creations. Poor Sarah Foster is as tall as the table.

A sweet person offered to take our picture so you could actually see Sarah Foster's face. I guess he forgot to include the master pieces in the pic!!! They really enjoyed the activity, but I had the hardest time keeping them from eating the candy everyone had touched!!!

Disney on Ice

A very late picture of us at Disney on Ice. This was our first outing without baby Walker. He stayed with Chan and Marty while we took the kids. This was the end of October. Parker and Sarah Foster loved it.

Christmas PJ's

Walker's Christening

Sweet Baby Walker in his Christening gown. My aunt Ginny made the gown and it has been worn by all 3 children. Definitely a precious keep sake.

Christmas with the Wooldridge side of the Family

We celebrated Christmas with my side of the family at Thanksgiving. My mom, dad, and brother came for the weekend. My sister and her family could not make it because my nephew was sick. We missed them so much, and can not wait to see them in January. These are pictures of everyone opening gifts. We all got some great things!!

The Brown Family

Chad's mom wanted to get a family picture on Thanksgiving for her Christmas card. It is soo much fun trying to get 9 children 8 and under to all look cute in a picture. Below is the result. The best we could do. I think we were all sweating by the time it was done.

First Boys Hunting/Camping Weekend

The Littlest Hunter with the Deer. I do not think he could look any cuter in those coveralls.

I am a little behind on posting this, but a couple of weeks ago Chad took Parker on his first hunting weekend. I should have Chad document it on here for Parker, but I will do the best I can from the stories I heard. First of all, I do not know who was more excited Parker or Chad. Chad would lay awake at night, unable to sleep, planning their weekend. He bought Parker new coveralls, boots, a hat and gloves because it was only 22 degrees. He had a supply list and a grocery list. They left on a Friday afternoon with Parker jumping up and down he could not wait. We were originally going to make this a family affair, but when we found out the cabin was primitive we decided that was too cold for a six week old. Our assumptions were correct when Chad called at 8:00 Friday night and said they were headed to Freds to get a space heater and mouse traps. So, forget the cold, I would have gone to a hotel the second there was evidence of a mouse!!! Anyway, they hunted Saturday morning and my littlest hunter called to say they killed a "girl" deer. Chad showed him the blood and Parker tracked it all the way to the deer. Chad said Parker gave him a big hug and said he was so proud of him for killing a deer. This is all so foreign to me, but my boys love it!!! They stayed two nights in the cabin in sleeping bags, ate casseroles I sent with them, enjoyed the out doors and had good father son bonding. When they got home Parker went on and on about how much fun they had. Friends of ours that saw them that weekend said Parker was such a joy to see because he was so excited about everything. If you know Parker, you know he is like this all the time. He has such a sweet spirit and joy for everything in life. It does not matter how big or small!! We should all look at life as he does, and I wish I had just one percent of his energy!!
