SF with her field trip shirt on for class
Parker ready to go!!
Sweet brother and sister
Walking Parker to his class room.
Green Container Day 1: After two weeks of school and many plastic water bottles and baggies later, I have decided to be more green! This is also thanks to reading 7:). I make Parker's lunch on Sunday night in our new green containers. I put it in his backpack Monday morning. A little while later I go to get his backpack out of his locker, and there is water dripping out of his backpack into his locker. I open his lunch box and realize I had not completely sealed his reusable water bottle....agh our ride is almost here. I get everything cleaned up and him off to school. When he gets home, I ask him how he liked lunch. He said it was terrible because his sandwich was sopping wet....guess my green container is not water proof:)
Green Container Day 2: This morning after putting the kids lunch boxes in their bags, I walk them outside. I look at Sarah Foster and there is something dripping out of her lunch box. Surely this did not happen 2 days in a row!!!??? I quickly open her lunch box and guess what??? Her reusable water bottle was not sealed, and her cloth napkin was soaked!! Get her all cleaned up and off to school. Scare to see what tomorrow holds. Kids and I really excited about being more green, but so far it has been a lot messier:)
